95,000 Nigerian Muslims to travel to Saudi Arabia for Hajj 2020
95,000 Nigerian Muslims are expected to perform the Hajj pilgrimage in 2020 in Saudi Arabia, according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
An official of the Nigeria Hajj Commission, Alhaji Ahmad Muazu of NAHCON social media department spoke to NAN. He said that the Nigerian delegation was led by the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Zubairu Dada.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was essentially to address the issue of the welfare of Nigerian pilgrims who are going to perform Hajj. Matters of discussion included accommodation, flights and other services.
The MOU was signed on behalf of Nigeria by Dada. Saudi Arabia was represented by it’s Minister of Hajj, Dr Mohammad Saleh bin Taher Benten.
