Ben & Jerry’s to Open First Store In Malaysia
Calling all ice-cream lovers in Malaysia!
Popular American ice-cream Ben & Jerry’s which also manufactures frozen yogurt and sorbet will be launching its first store in Malaysia at the Sunway Pyramid shopping mall, this September 2nd.
The exciting news was shared via Ben & Jerry’s Malaysia’s official Facebook page recently.
“Ben & Jerry’s first Scoop Shop was opened in a renovated gas station in Vermont, back in 1978. Now, we’re opening one in Sunway Pyramid!” read the status which depicted a throwback photo of well, Ben & Jerry’s first shop.

Just for extra clarification, we checked out its official website and found this awesome poster plastered under its ‘Ben & Jerry’s Grand Opening tab, so YES it’s really happening!
Pints of Ben & Jerry’s ice-cream can already be found in the frozen section of most hypermarkets in Malaysia but this marks its first official ice-cream parlour in the country.
The journey of Ben & Jerry’s began in 1978 with 2 guys Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield who are childhood friends from Merric, New York.
Ben & Jerry’s is available worldwide, offering delectable flavours for the sweet tooth.
Its ice-cream is rich in flavour, loaded with chunks and swirls of everything nice. Some of the flavours you can expect to get your hands on are: Chocolate Fudge Brownie, Chunky Monkey, New York Super Fudge Chunk, Salted Caramel Blondie, Strawberry Cheesecake, The Tonight Dough and more!
