Best Dressed Celebs at The Cannes Festival 2019

The 2019 Cannes Film Festival wrapped up recently and it was nothing short of fabulous celebrities who dressed to the nines for the red carpet. Supermodels, A-list movie stars, singers all pulled out their most memorable designer looks for the event. Besides Met Gala, France’s most prestigious independent film festival is also a glamorous parade that shows off the best in red carpet fashion. Let’s just say the celebrities continued to bring their sartorial game from the steps of Met Gala to the French Riviera. Here are some of the memorable looks from the festival’s many red-carpet moments.



The gorgeous Julianne Moore certainly knows how to turn heads. At the premiere of ‘Rocketman’ at the festival, she wore this sequined silver dress which had a pleated finish, paired with baby pink, flowing shawl and sleeves. She then styled her hair in a classic updo and finished it with a pair of long, round earrings. Modest, yet glamorous.


Chinese actress and model attended the premiere of ‘La Belle Epoque’ looking like an edgy princess, with a striking silver speckled Givenchy Spring 2019 Haute Couture gown. Although ladylike, the dress certainly made a statement with is dazzling cap sleeves and skirt in bands of cloque organza.


The actress served some serious old Hollywood glamour with the 1950s inspired Dior outfit worn at the Once Upon a Time In Hollywood screening. Fun fact, the outfit took 450 hours to make. Although the ensemble sets off some serious old Hollywood vibes, it’s revamped with sheer princess tulle and silk organza bishop sleeves, both of which are said to be trends to watch out for in 2019.


At the screening of ‘The Dead Don’t Die’, uber-cool actress Tilda Swinton wore this silver Haider Ackermann dress with dazzling embellishment then paired her hair in an edgy quiff.


Chinese singer-songwriter up the ante in the fashion department when she attended the ‘Les Miserable’ premiere with a structured embellished piece by Balmain Spring 2019 Couture.


Oscar-winner Adrien Brody looked sharp in a black tuxedo with a navy-blue shirt and a black bowtie by Giorgio Armani.


Nick Jonas decided to match his wife Priyanka Chopra who wore a white gown, by donning white head-to-toe himself. His white suit is by Berluti.
