Fashion Snippets from Emmy Awards 2019

Style Syahirah Mokhtazar 23-Sep-2019

The red carpet at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California earlier today was packed with Hollywood stars who showed up looking their best for this year’s Emmy Awards. Pretty pastels, sharp suits, sparkling sequins were spotted down the run carpet. The stars all looked like winners whether they took home awards or not. As usual, we tracked celebrities who slayed the carpet with modest ensembles to celebrate the night. Here is the rundown of the modest looks we found.

Kendall Jenner

If there is anyone who could wear latex and floral combination and look super sleek while at it, it’s Kendall Jenner of course. The Kardashian sister is back to being brunette after sporting blonde hair recently. Here she is wearing a dress by London designer Richard Quinn.

Mary Rudolph

Simple and chic, the Bridesmaids star sported this tasteful high neck dress.

Ava Duvernay

Director, producer and writer Ava DuVernay looked lovey in a custom Reem Arca dress.

Carice Van Houten

Carice Van Houten may wear a ton of black when she starred as Melissandre in Game of Thrones so this is certainly a nice change! Check out the beautiful printed dress.

Gwendoline Christie

This dress might not be for everyone but the Game of Thrones star surely knows how to work this Gucci ensemble.

Vera Farmiga

She is known to star in horror films like The Conjuring, Annabelle Comes Home, but Vera Farmiga looks nothing but ravishing in this red dress by Ryan Roche.

Milo Ventimiglia

The men looked quite dashing themselves on the red carpet. May we remind you that Milo Ventimiglia is 42?  The handsome star picked a platinum velvet Brunello Cucinelli tux jacket for this award show.

Justin Hartley

Another 42-year-old hunky star of the night who showed up looking dapper. The ‘This Is Us’ star opted for this blue Isaia tux with Montblanc cufflinks.

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau

Make way for Jaime Lannister! The Game of Thrones star looked regal in a custom Dolce & Gabbana gold suit.
