Garuda Indonesia launches new direct flight connecting Indonesia’s Denpasar and Ambon
On December 22, a national flag carrier of Indonesia, Garuda Indonesia, began serving a direct flight connecting Indonesia’s Denpasar and Ambon, in an effort to increase tourist arrivals to Indonesia’s Maluku islands, an official said.
“Starting from today, we serve a direct flight from Denpasar to Ambon,” said a station manager of Garuda Indonesia at Pattimura International Airport in Ambon, Maluku, Indonesia.
The airline will use a Bombardier CRJ1000 NextGen aircraft, which can carry 96 passengers. The plane has 84 economy-class seats and 12 business-class seats.
Garuda Indonesia serves the Denpasar-Ambon flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
