Henry Golding Launches Own Production Company
It’s crazy to think that around this time last year, Henry Golding’s name was launched to stardom thanks to the globally successful romantic comedy film Crazy Rich Asians.
The newly minted A-lister has been busy since then has starred in the 2018 movie A Simple Favour alongside Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick as well as Last Christmas with Emilia Clarke which opens this November.
From the silver screen to sitting front row at major fashion shows, Henry took Hollywood by storm.
Now, the super suave 32-year-old kicks it up a notch by starting his own production company called Long House Productions.
The company which is in partnership with China’s Starlight Cultural Entertainment Group already has two features in the works.
One of it is an action-adventure titled The Inheritance, which is based on an original story by Alistair Hudson and Henry, while the other is an action-thriller, called Harrington’s Greatest Hits about an assassin who discovers that his arm-dealing father put out a contract for him.
The British-Malaysian actor excitedly announced the big news on his Instagram page as well. He wrote: “Big things ahead for ‘Long House Productions. Can’t wait to start creating and telling global stories. Movies that will enthral audiences all around the world. Time to shift it up a gear.”
According to Hollywood Reporter, Golding is the first actor signed to Starlight’s $100 million development and production fund, which has dealt with top directors including James Wan, Jon M.Chu, Roland Emmerich, F.Gary Gray, and Rober Zemeckis.
Way to go, Henry!
