Jonah Hill to Play The Riddler in The Batman?
Two-time Oscar nominee Jonah Hill is currently the talk of town in Hollywood.
Rumours are widespread that the 35-year-old actor are in talks to play a villain in The Batman opposite Robert Pattinson as Batman.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, talks are still in its early and sensitive stage as it has not been decided yet which character the actor will play – The Penguin or the Riddler.
Based on Variety, producers had long eyed Hill for the project but decisions were put on hold until the role of Batman was filled.
Hill has transitioned from a comedy sidekick to starring in movies alongside Hollywood A-listers like Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio.
If he seals the deal, he would have some big shoes to fill as the iconic role was previously brought to life by Jim Carrey in Batman Forever, 1995.
Meanwhile, The Batman helmed by Matt Reeves has entered pre-production. It was previously announced that the film would begin filming in late 2019 or early 2020, and is slated for release in 2021. With not much information released about the film, fans are at the edge of their seat waiting for new updates.
But with the pre-production already underway, we’re hoping it won’t be too long before more official details of the move makes its way online.
It is believed The Batman is going to focus on Bruce Wayne in a younger era of his life as Batman.
