The government of Kuwait has announced that it will move to the fourth stage of its return to normalcy from the 18th August. Some activities that were not due to open until the fifth stage will also be reopened.

The nationwide partial curfew will be retained. Professional football will resume without the presence of fans.

Like other countries, Kuwait had imposed a lockdown to control the spread of coronavirus and then announced a five-stage return to normality.
