Love Durian? Eat All You Can At This Hotel in Kuala Lumpur
One of the things you should tick off your bucket list when traveling to Malaysia would be to indulge in durian, also known as the King of fruits.
Most hotels in Asia forbid the fruit on their premises, but in the recent years, the fruit’s pungency has become the star of its own show.
Now with the rising popularity of durians among locals and foreign tourists alike, this hotel in Kuala Lumpur called Le Apple Boutique Hotel @ KLCC is offering something special for durian aficionados.
They have recently launched its Musang King Promotion whereby tourists who have booked a stay with the hotel can enjoy an all you can eat buffet of Musang King durian delivered fresh from a durian orchard in Raub, Pahang situated about a few hours from the city centre.
The idea behind the promotion is to offer durian lovers a chance to indulge in the fruit without having to travel far in the outskirts. Instead they can feast on durian while enjoying the glorious view of the Petronas Twin Towers.
The promotion is held twice a year, with the first being July to August and the second, December to January. A few promotional packages are offered such as an all you can eat durian feast that comes with a 3 day 2 night stay at the hotel for the price of RM768 (about $185), or a walk-in durian buffet (RM160/$39) which allows you to eat durian for 2 hours and lastly durian take-away (price of durian is subject to market price).
Also, the hotel has constructed a 10 feet Musang King durian replica in front of the hotel, so you can snap away those Instagram worthy photos!
