Mistakes that make us unproductive
A common quality of successful people is that they are productive. Similarly, people who fail are usually unproductive. Success does not kiss their feet because such people make mistakes step by step. The following is a list of some of the mistakes of unproductive people that hinder their success. Among the mistakes that we have, we will try to get rid of the obstacles that stand in the way of success.
Mistake-1. Delay and laziness
It is true that ‘Those who finish work late usually object to the time‘. We stop working sometimes thinking that we are tired. This is a sign of laziness. And the longer we delay, the more laziness will continue to increase. The issue of delay has been repeatedly mentioned in the Qur’an.
“Even when death comes to one of them, they say, ‘O my Lord! Send me back (to the world). So that I can do good deeds that I have not done before.” (23: 99-100)
That’s why it’s time to do something. Those who delay and waste precious time are doing themselves a terrible injustice. Time is an Amanah (deposit) from Allah to us. So those who waste time with laziness never succeed.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to say, “O Allah! I seek your protection from anxiety and grief, from incapacity and laziness, from stinginess and cowardice, from debt and the burden of human domination. ” (Bukhari)
Mistake-2. Ingratitude to Allah
How many times do we thank Allah for the blessings He has given us? Unproductive people are so preoccupied with their desires that they ignore the favors that Allah has bestowed upon them. Thus they are ungrateful to Allah.
Regarding them, Allah said,
“O mankind! Remember the favor of Allah upon you. Is there any creator other than Him who provides for you from the heaven and the earth? There is no deity except Him, so how are you going astray? ” (35: 3)
Allah’s promise to the believers is that He will increase His grace towards His grateful servants. Allah says: “If you show gratitude, I will increase it for you, and if you are ungrateful, My punishment is severe.” (14: 7)
Mistake-3. Relaxation in worship
Humans did not exist in this world of their own free will. Allah, in His infinite wisdom, created man to worship Him and to establish justice in this world. But unproductive people show slackness in worship. Allah says, “I did not create the jinn and mankind except for My worship.” (51:56)
Therefore, it is the duty of the Muslim to pray to Allah, earnestly seek His grace and be hopeful of Allah’s mercy.
Mistake-4. Lack of responsibility
An important part of the basic belief of Muslims is destiny. However, we also have to take responsibility for performing any work. Allah has given man the ability to have intellect and choice.
“He gives wisdom to whom He wills. And he to whom wisdom is given is given abundant good; And only those with conscience take heed.” (2: 269)
So, people know the difference between right and wrong. When we will be accountable to Allah on the Day of Judgment, we will all be questioned about our actions as well as how we spent our time.
Mistake-5. Holding on to regrets
Unproductive people hold long regrets for what has happened. Let him go without regretting what has happened. If you have done wrong, ask Allah for forgiveness. Allah has taught this in various verses of the Quran.
Allah says: “Whoever does evil or wrong to his soul, then seeks forgiveness from Allah, he will find Allah Most Forgiving, Most Merciful.” (4: 110)
“O My servants! Those who have transgressed against themselves, do not despair of Allah’s mercy. Allah will forgive all of your sins. He is the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful. ” (39:53)
In all these verses, Allah has taught us that even if we make a mistake, we should not regret it. Rather, let us turn from these mistakes in search of Allah’s infinite forgiveness and grace.
Hopefully, the above discussion will inspire you to make the necessary changes in your life. Always avoid negative thoughts and keep yourself away from all these bad habits. InshaAllah success will kiss your feet.
