Over 100 Turkish workers trapped following factory blast
Nearly 200 employees of a fireworks factory in north-west Turkey have been caught up following several explosions at 11:15 local time which have killed at least two people.
According to public statements made by the Turkish government, at least 74 others have been injured.
Many were trapped and emergency services were struggling to gain access to the building, according to local authorities.
The explosions took place in Hendek but could be heard at a distance of dozens of kilometres.
There were 189 people working on site. Many had been able to flee the scene. Dozens of firefighters and rescue workers were sent to help evacuate the rest.
