Pilgrims have successfully completed second day of Hajj
Pilgrims have successfully completed Arafat day, the most significant day of the Hajj.
They listened to the annual sermon at Namirah Mosque, devoting the day to prayer and supplication.
Strict precautionary measures have been put in place approved by the Ministry of Health. They were transported from Mina to Arafat, escorted by security and ambulance vehicles.
Each pilgrim had to provide certification proving that he/she was free from coronavirus.
“The camps were set up for pilgrims in Arafat early on,” Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Mohammed Saleh Benten said. “The camps are equipped with all necessary services to help pilgrims perform their rituals in ease and reassurance, according to sanitary procedures and social distancing measures.”
