Rouhani open for nuclear talks if US lift Sanctions
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said on Wednesday that Iran are still willing and ready for nuclear talks on the provision President Trump and the United States first lift “unlawful” sanctions.
Rouhani has long emphasized Irans willingness to return to talks under the auspices of the P5+1 that reached the initial 2015 nuclear deal. Rouhani claims that Iran are being sanctioned unfairly due to incitement from “Zionists and the regions reactionary,”- referring to Israel and Saudi Arabia.
The landmark 2015 deal gave Iran relief from economic sanctions in return for curbing its nuclear program. President Trump unilaterally withdrew in and reimposed sanctions on Iran in May last year.
