Saudi public sector workers will return to work on Sunday the 30th August, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has announced.

Public sector employees have been away from their workplaces, working remotely to curtail the spread of covid-19.

Strict health regulations will remain in place. Fingerprint login systems will be suspended. Those over the age of 65 or with various long-term health problems will be permitted to continue working from home.

Additionally, working from home may be approved on a case by case basis where this would not exceed 25 percent of the entity’s total workforce.
