Some amazing signs of Allah (SWT)
The sole maker of the whole universe is Allah (SWT). He’s the All-Powerful. He has unparalleled strength. With His own power, He made everything. Some of the unique signs of his might are-
Livelihood system: Allah Almighty has provided the livelihood for all creatures. He said, ‘Say, “Who provides for you from the heaven and the earth? Or who controls hearing and sight and who brings the living out of the dead and brings the dead out of the living and who arranges [every] matter?” They will say, “Allah,” so say, “Then will you not fear Him?” (Surah Yunus [10:31])
Creation of wind: Another unique sign of Allah (SWT) is the creation of wind. Humans receive oxygen from the air. No animal can survive without oxygen.
‘Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and earth, and the alternation of the night and the day, and the [great] ships which sail through the sea with that which benefits people, and what Allah has sent down from the heavens of rain, giving life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness and dispersing therein every [kind of] moving creature, and [His] directing of the winds and the clouds controlled between the heaven and the earth are signs for a people who use reason.’ (Surat al-Baqara, 164)
Display of lightning: ‘And of His signs is [that] He shows you the lightening [causing] fear and aspiration, and He sends down rain from the sky by which He brings to life the earth after its lifelessness. Indeed in that are signs for a people who use reason.’ (Surah Ar-Rum, verse 24)
Sleep system: Sleep is one of the blessings of human beings. It is an excellent sign of Allah’s might. He said, ‘And made your sleep [a means for] rest. And made the night as clothing. And made the day for livelihood. And constructed above you seven strong [heavens].’ (Surah Naba, verses 9-12)
Differences in language and caste: Different languages and different expressions of different classes of people are beautiful signs of Allah’s might.
‘The Most Merciful. Taught the Qur’an, Created man, [And] taught him eloquence.’ (Surah Ar-Rahman, verses: 1-4)
Creation of the heavens and the earth: Allah is the sole creator of the vast heavens and the earth. These are another unique example of his might. He said, ‘And of his signs is the creation of the heavens and earth and what He has dispersed throughout them of creatures. And He, for gathering them when He wills, is competent.‘ (Surah Ash-Shuraa, verse 29) He further said,’ And the earth – We spread it out and cast therein firmly set mountains and made grow therein [something] of every beautiful kind, Giving insight and a reminder for every servant who turns [to Allah].’ (Surah Qaf, verses: 7-8)
Division of men and women: Another sign of God Almighty’s incomparable power is that He has divided man into two groups: men and women.
The Qur’an says, ‘And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquility in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought…’ (Surah Ar-Rum, Ayat 21)
Creation of superior beings from inferior objects: Human is the best creature of nature. But the man was created from dust. Soil is an essential element in the world. Allah chooses the inferior object for human creation and places him in the seat of leadership and authority. Allah the Almighty said, ‘And of His signs is that He created you from dust; then, suddenly you were human beings dispersing [throughout the earth]…’ (Surah Ar-Rum, verse 20)
