South Solok District struck again by flash flood

The National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) reported that South Solok District, West Sumatra Province struck again by flash flood on Dec 12 morning.

According to Head of the BNPB Data and Information Center and Public Relations Service Agus Wibowo, that the first flash flood occurred on November 20, both of these two incidences caused by high intensity rain.

Over thousand houses overflown at a depth of 30-120 centimeters this time and caused a collapse of a bridge.

Subdistricts affected by the flash flood included Koto Parik Gadang Diateh, Sungai Pagu and Pauh Duo.
