Star of Aladdin claims he hasnt had an audition since the movie’s release
Egyptian-Canadian actor Mena Massoud who played the titular character in the US$1bn grossing film, “Aladdin” – a live-action remake of the classic Disney animation- has revealed that he has not had an audition since the movies release.
The 28 year old actor lamented his situation and expressed his frustration. Despite the success of the film, Massoud claims that his post-Aladdin experience has not been easy. He added that he was not expecting much but was disappointed at the lack of opportunities he’d been given especially in light of the films success at the box office.
