Tourists favor Turkish cities over European countries
The World Travel and Tourism Council announced on Dec. 13, that two top tourist-draw Turkish cities defeated their European rivals by showing the fastest growth in 2018.
Istanbul and Antalya showed increased GDP from both the direct travel and tourism of 15.7 percent and 15.5 percent respectively.

The third-fastest growing city 2018 was Moscow, increased 13.7 percent due to the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Four out of the 10 fastest-growing cities in 2018 were in Europe which are Venice, Budapest, Prague and London.
