Uniqlo Collaborates With BTS for T-Shirt Collection

“Oh my my my!” Popular retail brand Uniqlo has teamed up with the biggest boy band In the world, K-pop sensation BTS to release a range of playful t-shirts. The UT capsule collection, titled BT21 features eight cute and cuddly characters printed on each shirt.


If you’re an ARMY (the band’s fandom name) and have pretty much bought other existing merchandise, you can kiss your money goodbye to this. Apparently, the boys didn’t just curate the range which is also created in partnership with Line Friends, but they were said to have created the designs to reflect their own bubbly personalities.

A statement from Uniqlo said that all of the singers participated in the whole process from drawing sketches to execution. Take your pick – you’ve got Koya (RM), RJ (Jin), Chimmy (Jimin), Shooky (Jungkook), Cooky (Suga), Tata (V) and Van.

Ranging for $14.90 each, the unisex shirts are available In a range of colours and design, from simple logos and fun illustrations and clever catchphrases. It will be available in stores worldwide and online this Friday, June 21.

The BTS phenomena certainly live on as the megastars’ first U.S stadium tour last month grossed $44 million from six shows, selling almost 300,000 tickets according to figures reported to Billboard Boxscore.

The boys are best known for songs like Love Yourself, Boy With Love, I Need U and more. Expect the shirts to fly off the shelves in a jiffy, so ARMY – brace yourselves!
