World’s largest camel hospital opened in Saudi Arabia

Qassim Gov. Prince Faisal bin Mishaal proclaimed the opening of the world’s largest camel hospital in Buraidah. The Salam Veterinary Hospital will also host a well-equipped research facility to for diagnostic purposes.

The project has been hailed as a national achievement and it is expected to be the harbinger of improved veterinary care throughout the kingdom.

The surrounding sheds can accommodate up to 4,000 riding camels at a single time. The hospital has been constructed on a 70,000 square metre area.
